Since 1997, Dr. Maria Lundquist has been providing quality hearing healthcare to adult and pediatric patients. In 2006, with well over a decade's experience in hearing healthcare, Dr. Lundquist opened Preferred Audiology Services to service the Rockville and neighboring Montgomery County residences.
We are providers of Medicare, Carefirst, United Healthcare, Aetna, Tricare and Cigna insurances. Some insurance policies require physician referrals. All major credit cards are accepted.

Board Certified Doctor of Audiology
Maria Lundquist, AuD, Doctor of Audiology, has been serving the community with over 13 years of experience. Dr. Lundquist earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland, her Master’s Degree from Gallaudet University and her Doctorate in Audiology from George Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University. She is Board Certified in Audiology with the American Board of Audiology, ASHA Board Certified, a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and a member of the Maryland Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Lundquist has been practicing Audiology since 1997. She has extensive training in diagnostic hearing evaluation on both the adult and pediatric population, evaluation and fitting of all levels of digital hearing instruments, including assistive listening devices, noise protection for work and recreational purposes.

Sandra Wexler, CMA
Sandra is the office and billing manager and assistant to Dr. Maria Lundquist. Prior to joining Preferred Audiology Services, she was the receptionist for Dr. Seth Goldberg in Rockville. Sandra has an extensive history working with medical professionals including practice manager for several cosmetic plastic surgeons in the Baltimore area. She started her career as a Certified Medical Assistant working for a satellite office for Adult Specialties for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. For ten years, Sandra did schematic medical illustrations for several doctors in the Baltimore area, most of which were affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. Her work can be seen in many journals.
